About Ben

Nebraska born, Utah raised, and west coast loving I spend my days dedicated to one thing: Making pretty things. My creative inclinations go back almost as far as I do, starting with a pencil and paper and culminating in the photography I do now.

Photography started for me as a way to study the abandoned and forgotten architecture of the world. On cold Utah Sunday’s you’ll still find me out getting dirty in the old buildings I love.  Not to be labeled a one trick pony, you’ll also find healthy doses of portraits, landscapes, and lighting experiments.

Professionally I represent half the creative force behind Sparkplug with good friend Nathan King. We are available for hire to clients with strong creative vision and an appreciation of both creative ideas and strong craft.
